CCC Co-Director of Music Sings Solo at St. Peter’s Basilica

Bruno Sandes, one of our Co-Directors of Music, will travel to Rome at the end of September to participate as a soloist in the International Week of Sacred Music at the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music. He will join distinguished soloists and singers from around the world for a week celebrating the beauty and spiritual power of sacred music.

The experience will culminate on Sunday, October 4, when Bruno will sing during the Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica, celebrated by Pope Leo XIV. The week’s repertoire will include Joseph Haydn’s Missa Sancti Nicolai, Charles Gounod’s Messe brève No. 7, Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina’s Missa Brevis, and James MacMillan’s St Anne’s Mass. We celebrate this remarkable opportunity for Bruno to share his gifts in one of the world’s most sacred and historic spaces.
