We are Mission-Minded
Christ Church Cathedral is mission-minded. From internal training to external outreach, there are countless opportunities for individuals to get involved. We advocate for the LGBT and Hispanic communities, and provide support to local, national, and global organizations and causes. We work collectively and cooperatively, providing compassionate service to everyone—the homeless, the lost, the steadfast, the strong. Sunday Breakfast
Every Sunday at 7 a.m., CCC opens its doors to serve breakfast and coffee, and offer listening hearts and fellowship to all people, especially to our neighbors experiencing homelessness. Contact us to volunteer or learn more.
In the Kitchen
Serve the parish by helping the Saint Martha’s Guild coordinate and celebrate receptions, picnics, and events like Mardi Gras. Widening the waistlines of God’s people through food and drink. Contact us for more information or to get involved.
Lay Eucharist Visitors
Lay Eucharistic Visitors take communion to the homes of people unable to attend church on Sundays. All people are trained and supported through monthly check-in meetings. Contact us for more info.
Acolytes
The Acolytes assist clergy in making a reverent worship experience for congregants that flows smoothly, lighting and holding candles, holding the crucifix, and bringing the Gospel book into the congregation. Acolytes commit to serving at least once a month and at special services. Contact us for more information.
Altar Guild
Making Christian witness through quiet rejoicing and reflection, the Altar Guild prepares the church for all Eucharists. They are responsible for preparing and maintaining all vessels used during Sunday and weekday services and kits for Lay Eucharistic Visitors. Altar Guild members commit to serving at least once a month. Contact us to learn more.
Chalice Bearers
Chalice bearers serve the chalice at the Holy Eucharist on Sundays at 8 or 10 a.m. and at special services, and they commit to serving at least once a month. They assist the priests at the communion rail, making a holy experience. Contact us.
Greeters Guild

Lectors are men and women of the church entrusted with reading the Word of God in the church’s liturgies at Evensong, on Sundays at 8 or 10 a.m., and for special services. Lectors commit to serving at least once a month. Contact us.

Throughout the City
Strawberry Festival
At the annual Strawberry Festival, hundreds of volunteers dish up more than six tons of strawberries. The event raises money for grants administered by the Cathedral Women. Contact the Strawberry Festival Committee for more information.
