Changes to Parish Election

At its meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 17, the Cathedral’s Vestry approved using an electronic voting system called ElectionBuddy for the 2025 election. The hope is that it will make voting more efficient and accessible to all members in addition to providing quick and reliable results.

Online voting in advance will open on Monday, Jan. 13, and it will close on Sunday, Jan. 26. Voting will be re-opened for on-site voters on Sunday, Feb. 2. Paper ballots will be available by request.

An individual Access Key will be mailed to all eligible voters in early January. The unique Access Key ensures that each voter casts one vote and that their vote is anonymous.  When voting opens, voters will be notified by email and text message.

If you prefer to receive a paper ballot, contact Lauren Good at laureng@cccindy.org or 317-636-4577, ext. 113, by Jan. 17. Paper ballots also will be available for in-person voting on Feb. 2. Paper ballots will be entered into the electronic system to be compiled.

All absentee ballots must be received by Sunday, Jan. 26.

Eligible voters are baptized, confirmed and/or received members ages 16 and up who made a financial contribution in 2024. Lists of eligible members have been posted in the church since Dec. 1.

If you have any questions about the new process, feel free to reach out to Lauren Good at laureng@cccindy.org or 317-636-4577, ext. 113, or Liliana Guzman, the 2025 election coordinator.
