I have attended CCC since May 2023, and since then, I’ve become involved in several ministries in the church. I am a lector and a chalice bearer, I volunteer for community breakfast, I chaperoned for the summer 2025 choir school tour, I have served for two years with Joyful Noise, served as a runner for Strawberry Festival, and have been a part of several committees.
What I appreciate most about CCC is the openness and charity which permeate the core of the church. Parishioners and clergy alike adopt a dominant attitude of care which led me from the very first to call this church my home. I was blessed to be confirmed here, and have learned so much about Christ, his faithfulness, and his mission through attendance at CCC.
My hope is that CCC continues to advocate for those on the margins while also equipping those who attend with the practical tools of faith necessary for living out Christ’s mission fully. Both strong advocacy and careful formation are absolutely critical to building the kingdom of God; this can happen by deepening our relationships with community partners while also developing sound formation opportunities so that we, as the church, are well-equipped to live out the kingdom of God everywhere we go.
